Why is it soooo hard?
Some days life just seems impossible, doesn’t it? Like each move you make feels like you are going backwards, instead of forwards. Praying everyday for a better life, but feels like nothing is going your way?
From a SOUL perspective we are here to experience LIFE. ALL of it. Which includes the painful parts. The pain, is NOT going backwards. Consider, that this is exactly what you are supposed to BE doing. Consider that these current experiences and circumstances are exactly where you are having your biggest growth.
Perhaps, saying NO to the things that bring your body to resistance { anxiety, stress, worry, fear, control, and anger which gives you a PHYSICAL response within your body } . We fear that we will hurt someone’s feelings if we say no. However, what is really happening is you are choosing to consciously suffer. YOU are choosing Pain over Peace. Think about it. How many times are you sacrificing yourself for others? How many times do others sacrifice for YOU?
Ultimately, we make the choice. We decide how to live each day. Yes, some days are heavy. So, get OUTSIDE to Mother Nature’s medicine. Feel that sunshine. Walk with the wind. Listen to the songs of the birds and wildlife. CHOOSE inner peace.
When you make the conscious decision to choose peace in every action you have, it will now BEcome part of your everyday moments. We have to practice PEACE. It won’t come easily. Your throat will feel tight with that first NO to something you don’t want to do… but your body will scream YES with inner Peace!
Today, I will walk with you in peace. Take the PAUSE, BEfore answering a question. Tune into your body. Do you feel the resistance? Listen to it… speak with compassion and grace. You do not ever need to justify your NO. Here are some examples of saying NO to situations you are not wanting to do:
Thank you I am not available.
That is so sweet, I have other arrangements at that time.
Thank you for thinking of me, but I cannot make it.
Once you start practicing your NO, it will BEcome second nature.
Cheers to your NO today!
In Love, and Grace,
DeAna
